184 /1 /3 /5 - Hardener for flat surfaces
The hardeners 184/1, 184/3 and 184/5 are dense hardeners. Their use is necessary in two cases:
- Enamel deposition on curved surfaces
- Catalysis of Neon / Fluorescent enamels, pearlescent enamels and metallic enamels
They are distinguished by gradually increasing density, as described below:
- 184/1 - for slightly curved surfaces
- 184/3 - for medium-curved surfaces
- 184/5 - for extremely curved or vertical surfaces
Tips
- Due to the high density of the hardeners, the mixture tends to incorporate air.
- To eliminate any bubbles that may form, flame the newly deposited enamel quickly and carefully.
- Make sure the pots are tightly closed after each use, as this type of product tends to crystallise.
- Apply the minimum quantity to achieve the desired effect on the subject to be enamelled, so as to obtain a uniform surface.
